Languages: French, German and English.
After her studies in the German language and civilization, she specialized in library sciences. She started her career in Germany as a librarian-assistant and then as an information specialist mainly in strategy consulting companies in Munich and Frankfurt.
After returning to France she specialized in intellectual property portfolio administration, patent documentation and competitive intelligence.
She joined the P&TS staff in October 2008 as a patent formalities officer, especially for the filing of foreign patent applications and the entry into the national phase of PCT applications through foreign agents and by direct filings in France and Germany. She also supervises the library and contributes to translations as needed.
She successfully obtained the IP Paralegal Certification at the ZHAW School of Management and Law in June 2020.
Violaine mainly dedicates her free time to going to the cinema, nordic walking and discovery of the Swiss wine heritage.
