After obtaining a degree in electronics and physics from the University of Neuchâtel, Raphaël Imer obtained a doctorate in science from the University of Neuchâtel in collaboration with the Biozentrum in Basel. During this period, he developed an arthroscopic tool for the early detection of osteoarthritis.
In 2007, he joined Centredoc as a patent analyst, carrying out state-of-the-art, patentability and freedom-to-operate searches, and is responsible for setting up and managing technology watch. He is also responsible for testing, selecting and integrating artificial intelligence tools.
In 2013, he obtained an executive MBA from the ARC business school. In 2018, he co-founded enovating SA, where he holds the position of COO.
Raphaël joins P&TS in July 2019.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball. He is technical manager for the Marin Basket Club and coaches several youth teams.
Born in 1976 in Neuchâtel, he is married and has two children.
