On June 23, the Startup Days 2021 took place at the Kursaal in Bern. This special edition marked the return to normality after the purely virtual version of 2020, Covid-19 obliges. P&TS wanted to take part in this pilot event, with a stand animated by a large delegation coming from the Neuchâtel and Zurich offices, as well as a master class proposed by Claudia Nash and Franck Amiot, and entitled “IP strategies for startups”. The two experienced speakers had the opportunity to present the key concepts of intellectual property protection to an audience that was obviously happy to exchange again in person during this 2021 edition. This master class was an opportunity to remind the audience of the crucial importance of IP protection in order to attract investors, especially for early stage startups.
The P&TS booth was an opportunity to exchange again in person to understand the concerns of startups in terms of IP, and more generally to exchange with many actors of the startup ecosystem in Switzerland.
Last but not least, this day was also an opportunity for the P&TS delegation to attend several conferences and workshops on various topics such as the state of the cryptocurrency world in Switzerland or the contribution of the cultural world on creation and innovation.
The P&TS team is already looking forward to the 2022 edition to continue to build this link with the dynamic and exciting world of startups.
